Vistar Technologies began in 1984 as a dentist’s pursuit to develop new and innovative dental products that were functionally superior. After four years of practicing cosmetic and general dentistry, Dr. Walt Stoll began developing a unique line of advanced dental products and procedures that were designed to efficiently solve problems that presented during the course of everyday dental treatment. 

Dr. Stoll’s passionate determination to advance the art of dentistry first led to the development of a line of unique endodontic and rotary instrument measuring, sterilization and storage devices. These devices were designed to withstand all sterilization environments. This was a unique concept at the time but one that is mandated today.

Recently, Vistar has developed a line of unique personal protective optical devices which includes the Bio Mask® and the Cure Shade™ Patch. The Bio Mask® is a state-of-the-art medical faceshield system which is far superior to any shield product currently on the market.
